Places to Visit in Dausa
1) Chand Baori- A step well is called Baori or Baoli in hindi. Chand Baori was built by King Chand Raja in the 8th or 9th Century CE. It is one of the most ancient stepwells in the world. The structure is made up of porous volcanic rocks, which allow water to flow through to the bottom of the water pond.
The ancient temple of Harshat Mata is situated nearby Chand Baori. It is believed that villagers used to draw water from the Chand Baori pond for their daily needs. People also visit the temple to seek blessings from the goddess.
During monsoon, peacocks roost on the terrace. The air at the bottom of the stepwell is five to six degrees cooler than the air at the upper floors.

7) Getolav Bird Habitant- One of Dausa's more recently created locations is the Getolav Bird Habitat. 200 metres from the Dausa-Lalsot Bypass on National Highway 11A, and around 5 kilometres from the bus or train station. There are currently 120 or more birds nesting here. Additionally, about 35 migratory birds can be seen here, including the IsabellinIsabellin Shrike, Great white pelicans & Dalmatian pelican, River Tern, Northern Shoveler N Black-tailed Godwit, Greylag Goose, Ruff, Little Cormorant, Purple Heron, Indian spotbilled Duck Grey Heron, Little Ringed Plover, Little Grebe, Northern Shoveler, Black headed Ibis, Eurasian Coot, Purple Swamphen, pied kingfisher and Sarus Crain.
